Our Practice

Caring for your dental health

Dr Nan Ling

I was born in Wellington, New Zealand and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, from the University of Otago in 1994.

I have worked in this practice since 1998 and my aim is to help people maintain their teeth in a decent condition so that they can enjoy eating their food like I do!

I look forward to having the privilege of gaining your trust and confidence in providing quality dental care.

Dr Elizabeth Hurwood

I graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Since then I have been working in private practice for almost 30 years, in both rural and city locations. I have been at Lakeview Dental Practice since 1996.

I am interested in all areas of general family dentistry with a special interest in implant restorations, crown and bridge work and root canal therapy.

I strongly believe in discussing available treatment options with you and I endeavour to explain treatment in a way that is easily understood by others. This enables my patients to feel comfortable with the treatment they have chosen and confident that they know both what is going to happen and the costs involved.

I am a member of the Australian Dental Association and I have attended many continuing education courses over the years to keep up with the advances in dental treatment.

Outside dentistry I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and being mum to my two children.

Dr Arash Shah

After a brief hiatus in Queensland to complete my degree, I'm back in Canberra again, and to be honest nothing truly changes. The same warm and social people who prioritise their health have continued to flourish here in the nation's capital. It's always amazing to meet new people who share the same outlook on life, and then take care of them in the dental chair.

As a dentist, I exercise a great interest in the cosmetic aspect of dentistry and aim to cure one's pain and restore and maintain a healthy smile.
